Previously, I shared the first half of my sketches from India. Here are links to the rest of the sketches.
Little Shops are everywhere in India, and the shopkeepers are usually really pleased to be sketched.
Food and Family features my mom making a Gujarati delicacy, undhiyu, and my sister making chocolate with a machine adapted from an idli grinder.
Spices, Temple Food, and Fish Thalis is another food-centric post.
Temples are everywhere in India. In most towns, there is at least a little shrine within your line of sight, wherever you are.
South Bombay is home to some of India’s best Gothic and Art Deco architecture.
India always surprises. Just when you expect another temple, you get a very old synagogue. Or a Portuguese Victory Gate.
Two Small Towns includes sketches from Kochi and Hubali.
And here are the other posts from India that I shared last week:
The Study Hall of Dreams and Hopes. |. Crawford Market |. Washing Linen, and Fishing Marlin |. Small Spaces |. Fishing Boats and Fish Markets
