Some great tips about mixing media, and a workshop request: it would be great to attend a workshop with you that focuses on how to mix media to get maximum impact. I feel like I need some more instruction and guided practice with you to learn this.
And…your comment about 2025 and 2026 travel workshops is very intriguing. How soon can you share more details about times and places?
Rachael, I'll share details on 2025 and 26 as soon as I can. There's an Istanbul workshop in the works too.
All my current workshops use mixed media to greater or lesser degrees, because that is how I'm working right now: the online "Colors that Pop" workshop mixes watercolor pencil and pen . And the in-person Santa Fe one with Maru Godas has gouache, crayon, and collage in the ix too.
Just wanted to encourage anyone who is considering attending your class in Santa Fe to GO GO GO! It was transformative! :)
Two really great tips, Suhita. Thanks for sharing them.
Glad you find them useful!

Great! I’ve signed up for your 8/10 Colors Pop Zoom workshop. Look forward to hearing about your other workshops, including Istanbul!
What day of the month do you have your sketch along?
it is always 9am Pacific time on a friday. Which friday depends on my teaching schedule. I announce a few months at a time: this month it's the 26th.
What is the pen you use with your water media?
Both these sketches use a Sailor Fude de mannen pen with a 55 degree nib.
